So happy you’re here! I’m Audrey Waters, the founder of Little Learners Speech Therapy. I work with children from infancy through elementary school throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties, NJ. I earned my Master’s degree from Long Island University–Brooklyn and my undergraduate degree from Monmouth University, and from early on in my career, I knew working with children was exactly where I was meant to be.

As I gained experience in early intervention and pediatric private practice, I developed a deep love for helping children find their voices and connect with the people around them. I always dreamed of creating a space where children could come exactly as they are, a place where they feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and communicate.

Through Little Learners, I provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized therapy for a wide range of communication needs, including receptive and expressive language delays, autism spectrum disorder, gestalt language processing, articulation and phonological disorders, feeding, myofunctional disorders, and more.

​

My approach to therapy is relationship-based and centered around play. I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, connected, and engaged, so sessions often include games, crafts, and activities that make learning feel natural and fun. Building strong relationships with the children I work with is incredibly important to me, and I strive to create an environment where they feel confident trying new things and expressing themselves.

I also believe parents and caregivers are such an important part of a child’s progress. My goal is to support families every step of the way by sharing strategies, education, and encouragement so you feel confident helping your child grow their communication skills in everyday life.

When I’m not working with children, you can usually find me at the beach, spending time with my family, or trying out a new workout class. I love bringing that same energy and positivity into the work I do every day.

Starting Little Learners has truly been a dream of mine, and I feel so grateful to support children and families as they grow, connect, and find their voices.
